Newcastle United new boy Nico Gonzalez is certainly feeling the love right now - and it helps, given he turned down another Champions League move to sign.
Fantastic to have four slightly different profile players for the double pivot with Banba and Steur, but Gonzalez oozes class and would be happy at the base of a diamond as well - great to see Finneran getting experience in (amazingly) a well suited loan!
Something for the club to reflect on after this transfer window and take into the future. The club recruit the best when there a hype man. Jassle is his own and Eddie needed Amanda and company. Not saying one is better than other but to me a lesson learned. I believe it is no coincidence we started missing targets and then started getting them again.
