Newcastle United take on Hull City on Saturday - and head coach Matthias Jaissle has called for a reaction from his players.
And the fans need one, especially after Monday night’s Elland Road disappointment. However, one thing in his, and his players’, favour is that there is a need for patience this season - Jaissle has warned of ups and downs, common with a squad so young.
This weekend, though, three points is to be expected, no matter how much turmoil filled United’s summer, and the start the Tigers have made on their top flight return. Let’s hope they can deliver - we could all do with a positive result before the long, three-week international break.
