When NUFC continuity is key, but change is absolutely needed - my XI v Everton

Just when you think Newcastle are out the woods, another debilitating injury comes along to derail plans. This time it looks like it’s Will Osula. The only striker NUFC have. Remotely close to proper one, anyway.

So, change seems inevitable for the Magpies in the second part of their Everton double-header. If they’re to stave off looking over their shoulders for another few weeks three points is essential.

Here’s the XI I’d go with at St James’ Park. I mean, in reality, I’d change a whole lot more, but moving these deck chairs around isn’t really making too much difference.
